May Weekend Long Ride
This weekend I’m joining a 3 day charity ride from Brisbane to Crows Nest (QLD) circuit through the local area on Sunday and returning to Brisbane on Monday.
Day 1 170 km
Day 2 140 km
Day 3 180 km
Not too sure how many riders there will be, but I’m looking forward to it. Did a similar ride with the East Coast Cycos in 2004 and still remember the ride home on Monday was quite tough. Will keep updates coming through on Twitter throughout the weekend.
Forest Lake has some of the worst drivers in Australia!
Why is there always so much glass on the roundabouts? What is so hard about driving around one without hitting another car? People just don’t seem to be able to work this one out…………….
The Penalties for Speeding and Stupid Drivers are way too soft!
Time for the politicians to pass much tougher laws for speeding.
For a start I would be in favor of raising the fines by a factor of 10 i.e a fine of $180.00 should be increased to $1800.00 to get through the thick skulls of these idiots who constantly drive in excess of the speed limits, and drive too fast for the current conditions on the road (dangerous driving). I notice that this Easter an off duty policeman in Tasmania even managed to drive his car into a tree and kill himself. What is actually going through the minds of these people?
